365:65 (only 300 more)!
I attended the National Anne Frank Exhibit tonight in Chandler, AZ. The exhibit comes from the Anne Frank House in the Netherlands. Anne Frank's traveling exhibition juxtaposes pics of the Frank family with the historical events during the Nazi rein of Germany. Hugh panels of a photographical timeline detailing Anne Frank's life and the history of the Holocaust. It describes how the Frank's were affected by the political decisions and actions of individuals.
This pic is of Anne's first diary, which she received for her thirteenth birthday (actually I was not allowed to take pictures, but I thought it would be better to ask forgiveness rather than permission). The photo in the diary is of Anne Frank.
After viewing the exhibit, I was struck by the fact that many people today deny that the Holocaust never happened...how can one deny such atrocities is beyond my comprehension!!!
