While attending the Chandler Art Walk tonight, I came across Paletas Betty.  OMG these are the best paletas (popsicles)  I have ever tasted!!  Made with fresh fruit, all natural ingredients, and no preservatives.  I will be back for more!

My car to use for 4 days, a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder in 'Rave Red', a rental from Enterprise.

New art in downtown Chandler at Boston Street and Arizona Avenue.  This sculpture pays homage to Chandler's Centennial and the 5 C's of Arizona, which are cattle, citrus, climate, copper, and cotton.

I took this picture of the tile art at Sky Harbour Airport, while picking up Monica.

Wine tasting at the Kokopelli Winnery &  Bistro in Chandler, AZ.  Great crab cakes, yummy!  I am enjoying a glass of their Gewürzrtaminer now.

Dropped off my MacBook Pro at the Apple Store to have the touch pad fixed and found out my hard drive needed to be replaced too!

A prickly pear cactus.

I am slack on posting a photo per day, so I will try to post a number of photos tonight.
One of many plants in Jillian's atrium is the Desert Rose a South African shrub having a swollen succulent stem and bearing showy pink and white flowers after the leaves fall.  Last month when I saw the desert rose it looked like it needed lots of TLC, all the leaves were falling off.  I thought she was neglecting her plants, but no she was not as you can see.

The Hunger Games did not disappoint, due mainly to a believable protagonist Katniss!

365:92

Taken at sunset at Bumble Bee, AZ.  The Saguaros are a large tree sized cactus that can grow 15 to 50 feet high.  The Saguaros are native to the Sonoran Desert and can take up to 75 years to develop one arm.

Patsy & I took the 4 hour Verde Canyon Railroad Wilderness Adventure train ride  from Clarkdale to Perkinsville, AZ.

365:90

Taken in Jerome, AZ, an old abandoned mining town (copper, gold, & silver).  In 1903 it was named the most wickedest town in the West!  In the 60's the town became the home of an artist community.  Now it is a tourist destination with many art galleries, shops, and abandoned and refurbished buildings.
