While attending the Chandler Art Walk tonight, I came across Paletas Betty. OMG these are the best paletas (popsicles) I have ever tasted!! Made with fresh fruit, all natural ingredients, and no preservatives. I will be back for more!

New art in downtown Chandler at Boston Street and Arizona Avenue. This sculpture pays homage to Chandler's Centennial and the 5 C's of Arizona, which are cattle, citrus, climate, copper, and cotton.

I am slack on posting a photo per day, so I will try to post a number of photos tonight.
One of many plants in Jillian's atrium is the Desert Rose a South African shrub having a swollen succulent stem and bearing showy pink and white flowers after the leaves fall. Last month when I saw the desert rose it looked like it needed lots of TLC, all the leaves were falling off. I thought she was neglecting her plants, but no she was not as you can see.

Taken in Jerome, AZ, an old abandoned mining town (copper, gold, & silver). In 1903 it was named the most wickedest town in the West! In the 60's the town became the home of an artist community. Now it is a tourist destination with many art galleries, shops, and abandoned and refurbished buildings.
